+1 for the robot.
I also have a screen enclosure over my pool, but we still get sediment, the occasional worm after a rain storm, or grass clippings from me jumping in to cool off after I mow. The convenience is worth it if you can afford it!
Just wanted to close the loop on this. Jandy came today and took the pump apart. Apparently, the bearing on the motor was going bad, so they replaced the motor. Nice and quiet now, happy to have a 3 year warranty

I have a fairly new (6 month old) Jandy VS Plus pump (Model: VSPHP270DV2A) that seems like it's rubbing, or something is off when it's running. Assuming I just need to call the pool builder to take a look, but curious if there is anything else I should consider or ask. Appreciate the insight...
It’s a curious approach for adding a sensor… I really liked my IC40 on my last pool with everything self contained. Has anyone found an innovative way to mount this vs having is just dangle? I’m wondering how long it will last when the summer Florida sun starts bearing down on it
TFP Friends... still within my 30 day startup process and when I got home from work today, I noticed this control dongle hanging from my PureLink Power Center and its connected to the AquaPure 1400 SWG. There is already a controller within the PreLink Power Center, so wondering if this is just...
Only took about 32 hours, but we now have a full pool and spa ~11.5 gallons. Can't wait for the pump to start running and get access to the lights in the evening while the builder works through their 3-week startup process. Somehow my Boyz and I had enough self-control to avoid a cannonball...
It truly stinks that you are being forced to change your plans. I will say that when we built out last pool, we decided to have expand out paver deck and we did not pull a permit. Not sure if our county rules are different, but perhaps an option after the fact.
