I always thought that the only time these type of spas are at higher temperature than the pool, is when the heater/controls is put into spa mode, which would divert all the heat flow to the spa, and if the heater is sized large enough, wouldn't take much longer then 20-30minutes. Just my two...

Re: My AGP Build up in the great white north-New DeckBuild P This is what the other circle is, it's supposed to be a raised fire pit area, so far it looks like a giant pimple, but I hope to add some concrete, trees and shrubs to create something out of it yet.
