How does it look sloppy? Genuinely asking. We didn’t caulk because we were replacing the deck as phase 2 - which unfortunately has been delayed a bit more than we thought. Water doesn’t stand on the coping. I can’t recall the stone.

We had our coping replaced last year (from the old red bricks of the 80’s) and for the first time we have Algae - black and green on the coping. I’m shocked. Shouldn’t it be sealed to prevent this? I’ve been scrubbing it with a metal brush and it is much improved but I feel like I’m scrubbing...

Thanks everyone! Is there liquid CYA? We keep finding crystals and doing the sock and that takes weeks it seems.

Lowish - 30 - 40

We’ve been TFP for a full season and as we are kicking off this season hubby is wondering if we are doing it wrong- we use about a gallon a day - so that’s about $80 a month on bleach alone at about $2.75 a gallon. Sometimes we get it cheaper but sometimes not. Are we missing something?

We are remodeling the pool - it is a 30 year old pool and we aren’t doing anything too fancy but we wanted to get a dual cycle pump. Recs? 16000G in ground non-saltwater

Oh right warranty. He is a neighbor and does our bigger maintenance on pumps etc so he might be willing to work with us some if I knew what to ask. But it sounds like it might not be worth it. Thanks!

Our pool remodel comes with 2 weeks of free maintenance. We are just doing plaster - is it file to let them do that and then switch to Bleach etc? 16000 in ground pool

We are doing our first TFP winter and I guess we need to “close”? We’ve always just done what we usually do but a little less frequently. We have a bunch of left over tabs from when we went to TFP - can we do that over winter? We are heading out of town for thanksgiving and plan to use tabs...
