I have been working on it with some success - can clearly see the bottom for maybe 60-70% of the pool now. This afternoon we had another problem..unexpected guest I was able to get him out and safely back into the nearby river with a snow shovel - had to weigh 20 pounds!

Made brief message about this in the new member section. Bought a home with a long ignored 12,000 gallon vinyl lined inground. Filter plumbing is not findable yet (long story...) Pool had a cover on it (Michigan), seems to hold water OK, liner has several pulls from the retaining band around...

Just reading along for the most part. Purchased a deeply discounted home with a long ignored vinyl liner inground +/-12,000 gallon. It was really green with a nice assortment of aquatic wild life and an undocumented cut off, buried, and as yet unfound plumbing system courtesy of prior owners...
