    Inconsistent Temp/Plumbing Modification?

I cut and moved the sensor, here’s hoping to a more consistent temp reading. Thank you everyone for your help!

    Inconsistent Temp/Plumbing Modification?

That’s a good idea, just cut/sand/cap the solar runs. Any issues drilling into the T and putting the sensor on either side of the vertical portion on? From the picture essentially I’m thinking of moving the sensor to the T so it’s inline with the water flow. As long as the clamp has enough...

    Inconsistent Temp/Plumbing Modification?

Wow, so many replies thank you everyone for your perspective. I wasn't aware of the California code wanting solar options installed. I'll be frank, now that I've passed the permitting I don't care about it haha. I've got solar panels on my roof and no desire to ever go the solar heat route. I'm...

    Inconsistent Temp/Plumbing Modification?

Hello, A little history, my pool is 3 years old now and has a spa that spills over into the pool if it's not in spa mode. I had automation installed about 6 months after by a local outfit with some issues(below). I had an erratic temp and changed the probe about 6 months ago, calibrated it...

    Am I doing it wrong?

Alright, Good news is I’ve got my Alkalinity finally down! I used my Harbor Frieght sump pump with my filter flosser (random thought) to aerate the water. I also made 2 aerators from another poster. I’m sitting at 70 TA now. Only issue is my CSI rating is now -.62 but hopefully PH will...

Thanks for the tip on the CYA solution, I’ll add that to my next order. Also never thought through exactly the chemistry of lowering TA by aerating but thanks for adding that information to bring it all together.

    Am I doing it wrong?

Big thank you to everyone for your time and response. It’s been about 3 months since I calibrated the PH gauge so I’ll do that again today and retest. I totally spaced TA on the fill water, I’ll test that and get a grasp over what that baseline is. Awhile back I ran it for 2 weeks on the hot...
