Filter and multi port valve Rlreplacement

Thanks for responding. No to trichlor. We are all liquid chlorine, added manually. Note that i've removed the automatic chlorinator shown in that photo. I should probably look into replacing with a swcg and an also open to sourcing wisdom on what to consider in that regard.

Filter and multi port valve Rlreplacement

Thanks for the response. That's essentially what I was wondering. Any suggestions on how to size an alternative cartridge system? 25000 gallon pool, 1.5HP pump. What else do I need to consider?

Today: Pool sends upbeat email out to members announcing closure on Nov 28 for 9 days. So the conversation obviously went smashingly...

I have the...

    Public Pool Test

Thanks for providing your opinions. It is a privately owned health and fitness club. Obviously they have gotten away with a pattern of negligence and deferred maintenance up to this point, we are hoping that a visit from the health inspector and all the corrective actions that will come may be...

    Public Pool Test

Thanks. No tolerance for an owner getting defensive about pool chemistry facts and making up excuses to justify why they are putting the unaware community at risk. The assertions of "not a big deal" and "not a safety issue" will now be in the hands of the health inspector to determine. In the...

    Public Pool Test

Update: Numerous emails have been exchanged. Lots of excuses from the owner, who seemed to be offended that someone tested his pool water. Says they are gonna exchange the water on schedule in December. However, I fail to see how the CYA situation magically goes away between now and then...

It was just about 100. The cya test is a little bit subjective.
