When I was digging I hit some old sprinkler lines. I hacked them off since I no longer have the system connected. You will need to cap the pipes off or re-locate the sprinkler heads. Don't need to water under a pool!
I also use the Barracuda Ranger - got it for a deal on craigslist. Works well, hoping it does better around my cake steps vs the ladder from last year. It would clean around, but the guide ring would catch on the ladder bottom.
I used a Zircon electronic water level that worked great for one person use. Mounted the one side to a pre-measured height on some 2x4s and marked a line on another replica of that.
Looks to be well worth the money spent. I have been looking at replacing a cement slab with pavers and haven't even begun to get quotes. They did a great job leveling and giving a uniform look! That job would have taken me a few months haha
Put in the CYA this morning, tested this evening.
Says CYA is now up to ~20 with FC at 14.
Should I wait a few more days for CYA to come up, or add some more?
Thanks

Re: Rounding the Corner to a New Pool Build
I have been working on leveling my pool, trenching for electrical, and I too won't have the pool up by the 4th. I'm gonna be working like crazy on the 3rd trying to make it happen though!
