I have one of those liquid test kits. But it’s about 4 years old. Should I get new liquids? Any specific type? The one I have tests for only 4 things

I only have test strips and the pool place actually used some machine. The told me I needed add alkalinity but that didn’t fix it.

All I did was shock it and clean algae away. Also once clear added algacide and I’m just trying to get stabilizer up. I was just outside removing some that was at the bottom of my filter. I have a catridge filter would I just corrected signature with such.

I added half into the skimmer and ran pump for 12 hours. Nothing changed só added the rest and ran another 12 hours. The readings are as follows. My ph is at a 6.8, chlorine is a 3, the alkalinity is 80 qnd the stabilizer is at a low. I’m using the test strips. I’ve attached a picture.

RIght one is skimmer and left is main one bottom deep end of the pool. Neither one when closed give me solid pressure. If there is a way to upload videos i have video of the issue happening.

The valves supposely one brings water in from main drain at deep end of the pool and the other comes from the skimmer. That help? Im only the owner for last 5 months. This all new to me but used to own an above ground pool..
