    I can't get rid of the algae!

    The shock used was calcium hypochlorite (73%), specifically, Leslie's Power Powder Plus. The water has been balanced and PH and TA were within normal range in the last few weeks. Levels are diminishing quickly and are difficult to maintain. These results were from my local pool store.
