Well it owuldn't be pure sand. it would be sand and crete mixed. the pool provider basically says there are two options so im just trying to figure out which to use. so no, i'm not saying anyone is stupid to use pool crete.

if there's no water in my pool right now, a few weeks after our last rain, chances are my ground water table isn't high enough to worry about right? we had a very wet winter so if the ground water table is 8' or higher, it should be showing.

is it better to put in vertical culverts and drop a sump into it or can i just run a 1.5" pvc with holes drilled in it (perhaps wrapped with drainage sleeve) from under the hopper to my equipment pad and then use a pump to suck the water out if needed?
