alternative to fafco sunsaver solar coupler

Hose arrived, perfect replacement. Also spoke to a regional dealer who told me he was having issues getting parts from FAFCO, and in fact recently he received some couplings from them with a green stripe... when I mentioned what I found, he wanted part numbers immediately. Told him, he pulled...

Leaking PB4-60Q booster.... think its toast...Agree?

PB4-60Q Replaced parts over the years. A few o-ring seals..a volute...a ceramic seal. BUT... just found a crack in the 'back' of the volute area... Not the front, which is clamped on...this is on the back side that appears to be part of the motor. On the diagram it is #1. (Crack is around...

Fiberstar Light Retrofit- Options and questions

Thanks. Check out the date on the rebar pic... 20 years ago! Digging in that 'dirt' was quite a challenge! "Converted" the old paper prints to digital...by laying on the floor and taking a digital picture of it, then formatting, color correcting, etc in Lightroom. Anyway, took a bunch of...

Fiberstar Light Retrofit- Options and questions

An update... Well, went with Hayward ColorLogic LACUS11050 units- two of them. These are 20W LEDs, and are SIGNIIFICANTLY briger than the old Fiberstars unit. The 9.5' deep end of the pool is fully illuminated on almost all colors except the deep reds and purples. Fit perfectly, as mentioned...

Pool Light - do I have one?

As stated above this is not a easy DIY/Homeowner upgrade or retrofit. Nothing is 'plugged in', rather it has to be designed and then hardwired. You need to measure the space in the conduit to first determine what light will fit- the depth is a critical and can dictate the mfg, model and...

    Savi melody/sol lights.

Jandy purchased Savi. Recognize that Jandy will not warranty the lights if they are not 'professionally' installed. They will also not provide any warranty support unless you pay a company or 'professional' to come out and do all the work.
