I have installed this type of pool before with that exact coping. The coping is aluminum which has been powder coated and is extremely durable and lasts forever. Here's the problem if you want to change it - the coping when initially installed is screwed to the steel walls with self-tappers...

I am building a pool right now in central Georgia. I decided to do my own - all the pool builders around here have poor reviews. Heck, one company that advertises everywhere wont even answer their phone or return voicemails or texts! That's why i decided to go my own way!
