89 degrees last night after 10. Great for a night swim.

DD went in today and complained it was too warm, about 86. It was also 109 in Las Vegas.

First suggestion is go to pool school and read and re read. The pool school link is in the upper right hand corner of the page. Seems to me that the alkalinity is a bit high. Also the pool calculator might be helpful in determining how to bring levels where you want them. Good luck. Others...

I had trouble draining my pool also, it was draining much slower than I had anticipated. Things went faster once I turned the auto fill off. LoL

Kids went swimming a few days ago and enjoyed it. It will be properly cleaned this weekend.

If someone is taking a poll, I would also be interested in this information.

Hey Mobileguy, I've been lurking for a couple of weeks and I have a similar situation as you do. Just bought a house. I have a 2hp pump with a pool that is smaller than yours with an inground spa. The water fall has a 1.5 hp pump. I'm very curious as to what you do and your results.
