Are you trying to SLAM?
The FC value for a SLAM with a CYA of 30 would be 12ppm .
For your pool volume, you need to add 100 oz (just over 3 quarts) of 10% liquid chlorine to reach 12ppm

I’m trying to but math is not my strong point. It said add 26 oz. I did a couple hours ago.
The PoolMath app will do the calculations. Just need to put in the correct numbers.
Is your liquid chlorine strength 10% or 12.5%
Is your pool volume correct?
Please follow the SLAM Process by testing every 4 hrs and top up back to SLAM level (12ppm). The more you maintain the FC level at SLAM level the quicker it will go.
Are you filtering constantly and backwash as needed.
10% . Yes, filter is going nonstop. I haven’t backwashed yet, plan on doing that in the morning.
On the PM app where you click on overview, then click on the Free Chlorine block. The initial recommendation is to reach the target range for FC for the stated CYA level. You have to also press on the circle (button) next to the word SLAM - then that will change the recommendation to achieve SLAM level. That is how I got 100 oz.
The goal is to reach 12ppm FC for SLAM.
Thank you! I discovered that little circle by accident. So my math was correct, I just wasn’t getting the slam quantity. It’s getting better now a lighter green. I’m tired of brushing, skimming and backwashing, but will continue on.
