Stains in pool

I’m so confused how to get the metal stains and metal out of the water. I’ll make question simple.
I understand vitamin C lifts stains but what I’m not sure of does a product like Pro team metal magic only sequestered the metals and then I need something like Culator to get it completely gone? I guess I wanna make sure that I need all three products? I wanna make sure I’m not buying something I don’t need. I vitamin C test and stains lifted right off.

It's a little more complex than that. First things first, you need to identify the stains. Most common is iron but all the treatments are different so we need to know the type of stain or we are just guessing

That means it is iron staining. Any idea on the source of the iron? Do you have a well and use it for pool water?

Before you buy ANYTHING, here is the treatment:
No well water. I think it came from a rusted tomatoe stake that went in my pool over the winter but can’t be sure. Never had stains in 10 years so I think this had to be it. I understand the treatment process. I guess what I’m wondering is once I get the stains off and I put in sequestrating agent is should I use culator to remove it. Sounds like this is a process.

Which CUlater product are you thinking of using?
Culater is just a sequestrant, it will NOT get rid of the iron. How do you think it gets rid of metal in the water?
I would not use CUlater, I would use one of the sequestrants in the wiki article.

The only way to remove metals is to 1) to remove, (iron, not copper), is to precipitate it, then filter through polyfill, or 2) replace the water in the pool with water without iron.

You are either stuck with two choices. Replace water or doing ONGOING maintenance dose of sequestrant as the phosphonic acid breaks down...
