That's what color I get running hot. Try less drops. I often use both sides with 4 drops on one side and 5 on the other. Or 3 and 4.

Pool remains very cloudy. Visibility is maybe 2 feet. Not sure what is going on. My tests are all pretty good (poolmath logs on my name) and chlorine is holding. Hoping it clears up soon.
Is it (slowly) making progress or stalled.
I'd check the carts, maybe they aren't fully seated or there is a rip in one.

Yep I will. They were brand new at closing last year. I closed with new, unused cartridges.
Doesn't seem like any progress. The pool had lots of leaves in it though. I ran the vacuum 5x yesterday. Fully loaded each time.

Here is a shot I just took. You can see looking at the stairs the cloudiness. Visibility is around 4 feet. @ 1/2 way to the deep end I lose sight of the robot. I jacked up the SWCG and yesterday chlorine was at 12. CC's at 0. I lowered it back down. Whatever it is, I do not think it is organic since the pool isn't using really any chlorine at all.

Anyone have any ideas? I have never experiences this level of cloudiness before. I ran the robot another 5 times and it is coming up clean now so I believe all of the leaves have been removed. I will take the filter apart this week some time and clean the cartridges. Filter pressure is fine though.
It'll be interesting to see how dirty the filters are. If you don't find one popped off it's housing, I'd say they don't work well. You have many days of no/little FC loss so whether it's pollen or old dead algae, it's probably a mechanical issue.
Or the filter is working great but the old dead algae last week and all the pollen since are too similar to differentiate and it's going to take another week or two.

I cleaned the filters out finally. The tub was like totally brown. Filter was doing its job keeping the garbage in the filter. I cleaned all 4 cartridges and the filter itself.
I think I finally turned the corner! Pool isn't "crispy" yet, but getting there!
