The dusting is starting to show again on the flat areas, but not the bottom surface of the pool, just against the edge. Hard to get a good picture its overcast here.
1st picture is top of stairs, 2nd picture is where the edge of the seat meets the floor.
And on a side note.......big sigh !! Did not check CC.

I know from the pictures its tough.
I have looked the system over, unless there is a leak in plumbing underground. I know how the plumbing runs and havent experienced any wet or damp spots. Being a cartridge filter system that would eliminate the possibility of a sand issue. I guess I could put some kind of filters on both returns to see whats going on. Not sure how I would attach something
Did the dusting seem to decrease when you went to mustard SLAM level?
Maybe try to put a filter over the returns to see what you might catch.
Maybe go to Mustard Algae SLAM level to see if that helps.
Have you cleaned the cartridge recently?
If yes, was there brown dirt in the filter?
Did you pressure wash or do any cleaning recently?

I always pressure wash my filters and yes it was covered in the brown stuff. I have 2 filters and rotate them.
I cant remember the one time I did the 30 FC for Mustard Slam if it made a difference.
I will have to see what kind of filter I can put on the returns.

I would suspend the use of the pressure washer.
Soaking grids is the most efficient way to clean them. Using a high pressure nozzle only pushes the contaminates deeper into the grid lowering its efficiency to pass water through it.

Its embedded in the media so cant really tell if its dirt.....I know I have thrown enough bleach at it.I can't tell what the stuff is.

Pressure washing the deck or brick can produce a lot of fine dust.
I would not use a pressure washer on the cartridges.
The deck, brick and fence can all produce fine brown dust when a pressure washer is used.
I meant PW the filters...maybe I will go back to washing with hose and doing a muratic acid soak
