NEW CUSHIONS FOR OUTDOOR FURNITURE?

I have an outdoor patio couch set that I am in need of new cushions for. I’m searching for some that will hold up to full sun and be left onside in rain. Any suggestions on Brands or stores to search?

Seems to be two ways about it:
1) Spend a lot more $$ for Sunbrella fabric cushions and closed-cell foam
2) Spent a lot less and just replace every 1-2 years

Since cushions can be so unique to each furniture piece, it's wise to get measurements and then start your search.

I believe the best and most expensive is frontgate.com. We've had their poolside daybed for 13 years and replaced the cushions only once.

I ordered some very nice covers from coversandall.com a couple years ago for my deep seating gliders.
I didn’t get the most expensive option but they have held up very well and look as good as the day I received them.
They sell cushion inserts as well practically any size. There’s usually some promo codes available.
They sell covers for everything.

They should field test them in the AZ sun. Around here, if you leave cushions uncovered outdoors, they’ll be brittle toast in less than two seasons. Nothing survives an AZ summer … well, maybe some unpainted metal frame chairs … the rusty kind with sharp edges that you’ll probably need to get a tetanus shot afterwards when you’re done sitting on them.

Every spring I go to Home goods and look for the Sunbrella tags on their cushions. I only buy those. They last so long that I now have too many. I would like to eventually buy some from The Company Store, I like their stripes.

My cushions are under the patio but they do get sun and rain and they are more waterproof than the original ones that came with the chairs.
The foam was fine but the covering was dry rotted so i just opted for covers.
I’m on a new kick apparently and now have covers for all my indoor pillows. Its been a game changer with my filthy family and dog just throw them in the wash!
