Dust?

I live in the middle of Indiana farm country and my property and pool are surrounded by farm fields on all sides.
I have what looks like skin flakes all over the pool then realized it was dust from the bean fields (at least I think it is). I take a skimmer to it every day and it just goes right through the skimmer. Anyone else ever deal with this?

My pool is covered with an auto cover when not in use but I like to open it up every day and sit by it while I have my adult beverage and cigar. At first glance it appears clean but when you walk around it and the sun hits it just right you see it is covered in dust.

What should I do about it?

Put a hairnet in your skimmer basket. I would also keep the FC up around the SLAM range to be safe.

You just throw them out when they rip
Or you can get skimmer socks and they are able to be rinsed out multiple times.

You can also get a fine mesh net for when you want to manually clear the whole pool. I personally have this Pro Tuff one and it picks up any fine dust and debris I can see on the surface.
