Below is what I have.
The first year it worked great for getting leaves. This is the second season using it and it really isn’t picking up any leaves.
And even as good as it was on the first year, it always always dropped fine particles like sand and dirt back into the pool when you lifted it out. The water drained out of the vacuum upon lifting out and all the dirt and stuff went with it. The tray only captured seed pods and leaves and small twigs. And like I said, it’s not even doing that now.

So I’m looking for recommendations for one that works a little better. As you see in my signature I don’t have a very big pool so I’m not looking to break the bank

Thanks in advance!!

Call Marina Pool and Spa. Ask them for recommendations. They have lots of experience, goo prices and great service. The benefit of using them, they are brick and mortar and you get the full warranty.

They are in Colorado.
I am in Alabama
that’s an awfully long way to go just to get a pool vac lol
And in looking at their site, that’s way more than I’m looking to spend
other than they are one cheaper model, all of theirs are $1000 and up
I can’t justify spending that for a little cheap $400 Intex pool
That kind of reminds me of the people that buy the cheap POS car and then put a stereo that cost twice as much in it lol

they ship it to you for free. most of us on the forum have ordered from them and I am in NY:)
Is there not a viable option under $500? Those prices are just out of my budget.
I’ve only got a cheap pool lol I wasn’t looking to spend three times as much for the pool on a vacuum

Unfortunately the one you bought is the entry price at the bottom of the barrel. Going up a few levels doesn't do squat for build quality. These days many flagship models aren't lasting more than a couple seasons either.

If you can find one, the aquabot pool rover junior was the last great small robot I knew of. The last run of them spiked to the $300s and now they're discontinued.
