My CYA is low 40’s high 30’s approx. I am considering adding stabilizer or using some tablets in my Pentair rainbow chlorinator. I am using right around a gallon of chlorine a day. Our temps are mid to high 90’s and will only get higher as summer rolls on. People who are in the Houston, SE Texas area what are you keeping your CYA at and how much chlorine are you using daily in a similar size pool (22,000). Thanks in advance for your answers

You should do an overnight chlorine loss test before increasing the stabilizer. It’s going to be hard to compare gallons of chlorine usage, it’s much more easy to compare PPM usage per day.

That's in range for your size pool and our climate.

For an LC pool, target 50-60. With hot & long days, I'm losing 4-5 FC daily. Pass an OCLT before bumping up your CYA.

I would highly recommend getting a SWCG.
