Does A&A Lifetime Warranty Still Exist?

I just discovered that my popup cleaners stopped rotating and traced this to worn out gears in the 6-port valve. I used to get this replacement part (#540277) from Shasta Pool (local in AZ) but they were bought out by Leslie Pools and they are not honoring Shasta's warranty. I tried going to A&A Manufacturing but their website was redirected to Pentair. Does this mean Pentair will take over the lifetime warranty of A&A? Anyone has any experience getting replacement parts from Pentair?

Welcome to TFP!

Here is their old phone number - call them
(602) 256-6935

Or contact Pentair directly

Suggest you read thru Pool Care Basics and have a look at our YouTube videos as well.

Want to follow up on this. Calling (602) 256-6935 (AA's old number) got redirected to Pentair. After a few calls (need to send them proof of ownership and certificate of warranty), they were able to send the replacement part to me. However, it took about 3 weeks from the first call to me receiving the parts. I wish there's still Shasta/Leslie stores locally that I can get the replacement parts on the same day. I guess it's better than nothing.

You and me both. I have a lifetime Shasta parts warranty and after they sold their stores to Leslies when they first started up we could still get warranty pop ups for a couple of years. Leslies then quit allowing the warranty replacements and said that Shasta shut it down. Luckily by then I had replaced all of the bad heads and I haven't needed any since - knock on wood. I still use Shasta for the parts warranty when I don't need an emergency fix on something I can't do, or don't want to spend $200-400 on, since they have apparently made warranty calls as their longest wait times. I think they are hoping we will all give up and go away. I can't imagine there are too many original owners with these warranties still around. I have waited up to two months for warranty work and lately, a top to my cracked filter tank. They still owe me the four way cartridge aligner and it's supposed to be installed next week. When I need an emergency fix then I call the local pool store technician who can get there in a couple of days. I still find it funny that, a few years ago, Shasta would simply epoxy the flaps in my in-floor control head over and over and it took me finally telling them that I was tired of that for them to replace the dang thing. I however, have replaced the gear system in it twice myself. Honestly, I weigh the $65 "copay" with the wait time and the cost of the parts needed before I decide how I'll tackle something. But I am still using them as I mentioned, 22 years after the pool was built.
