Greetings,

When I built my pool last summer, I installed eight CCEI Mini Brio 2 X3 lights. I chose them because they are DMX controllable. I run them from a circa-1990 night club lighting desk. The sound-to-music coordination is awesome!

The problem is these lights are very failure prone. One failed almost immediately and more over the next year. CCEI has been sending replacements, but they sometimes fail immediately as well.

Does anyone have any first hand experience with the CCEI Mini Brio 2 X3 lights?

If I have to replace the whole system, does anyone know of an RGB controllable light that can be installed in 1.5" return fittings?

Thank you.

Ok I know nothing about these lights, but do know something about DMX.
Couldn’t help but comment. Hope someone stops by with more helpful info.

There aren't many in pool circles that know what DMX is. I spent the first half of my professional life building nightclub sound and lighting systems. It's only natural that some element of that found its way to my pool.

When these Mini-Brio lights work, the show is awesome. Unfortnately, the product is not ready for prime time.
