Ah, shade...

So, our cantilever umbrellas gave up the ghost (rust, rips... Florida is TOUGH), and we tossed them when we "closed" the pool last fall (i.e., we wanted the sun, not the shade.)
I looked at new ones, but can't justify that cost every few years. Here's our new solution. Needs a bit of adjustment, but we have SHADE.

I've seen basic cantilevers for up to $800 this year. They used to be $300 and get clearanced quickly at $150 as all the stores do.

The quality remained the same while the cost went through the roof.

Yep! I think I paid around 120 each for ours. Best I could find was $400 each. Ouch.
