Pre pool opening (white water mold)

Only a few times previously (when directed to do so here) and today.
Ok. Without confirming you're never really sure. In this instance, it's no biggie. You're free and clear from WWMville. Whether it was 1 or 2 loss......... meh.

How long after Lc can I add ma?
20 mins of circulation.
The “green” stuff from Lowe’s seemed shady
It's just marketing. Plus, it's not for pools because they never chose to certify it. (Or whatever hoops they have to jump through to say its safe for pools).

It's a great product for etching concrete/glass where strength is less of an issue. Why not have less fumes if it does the same thing ? For pools we need twice as much so we care about that part.

Just tested , doesn’t seem it changed much. Still looks 8 . Add another dose?
Rinse. Lather. Repeat until it's a 7.

PH adjustments don't always land the same. The test is subjective and most eyeball the dose. If making a large correction there is further room for error in the maths. Not confirming Ph after dosing is where people go wrong. Sometimes you need a 2nd or 3rd dose.

Exactly that. Pencil size stream at a return. Brush the area well after.

Whiffing some fumes is a good thing. It's mother nature's way of saying you're doing it wrong before any damage is done. If you catch a waft pouring right, try your left. Or turn your body 90 degrees one way, then the other. One of them is usually upwind.

Mostly submerge the bottle and it will all but eliminate splashing. Don't let it fill though, that will glug and splash. I poured waist high like a clown for YEARS.

If you do get any on you, rinse right in the pool. It's really no big deal and I often finished pouring, walked right past the hose and went inside to clean with soap. I might have even gone the long way and stopped at the mailbox at the road first. Lol.

Moral of the story, respect it but don't panic about it.

My first pour I didn’t adjust to 7 more like 7.7
Goodness. I'm sorry. I meant '7' as in 7.8 or 7.6, instead of 8.X.

We say it all the time.......'Until it's *a* 7'. Thanks for pointing out the potential misunderstanding.

I owe you a 3/4 gallon of MA. Please put it on my tab and accept my apologies.
