Has anyone found a variation in results as the reagent bottle comes to an end.
I had a chlorine titration reagent that was almost empty, I was getting 12 drops before the colour change happened.
I ditched the nearly empty bottle and opened a new one, it only took 10 drops before the colour changed.

Is this something that anyone else has noticed?

I buy the Taylor fas-dpd titrating reagent in the 16 oz size bottle. I then fill my 2 oz fas-dpd reagent bottle and test from that. However, the drop size seems to change when the 2 oz bottle gets low. When I fill it back up the drops are back in line to what I expect.

For me, is it the weight of the fluid when the bottle is upside down?

The best way for drop size accuracy and repeatability is to let the drop gently fall from the tip. It's a little slow but don't push the drop out with pressure.............let it form on the tip and allow it to fall off.
