We are at just over 60 days from dig and they finally plastered my pool! We went with pebblesheen blue slate which comes with shimmering sea in it. Should I be seeing it already or not until they acid wash it tomorrow? Worried it won’t have the sparkle ✨

Congrats Schneida !!!

I'm no plaster/pebble guru but acid washing exposes more of the finish, so hang tight.

Give me a crack at your water. You won't be able to see what's under it. ;)

The gif didn't do it justice. It was blinding and hurt to look at. But yeah. It'll sparkle above and below. You did GOOD. Hang tight.

I also have slate blue. Great choice! It was not a popular color when I built but I’m glad we went with slate blue. A local user here was kind enough to let us visit their pool to see the color in person

I would not worry about the look until the pool is full of water.

Don’t forget to take note of your water meter before and after filling to get a good pool volume estimate.

It is still not a popular color! Or at least not in TX. I have searched high and low for pictures of it and finally decided to just take the leap. Glad to hear from someone who has it and is happy with it. Will definitely check the meter before fill starts!
