Dolphin DX3 vs CC

The specs say the DX3 is much larger, yet they weigh the same, and take the same filter. Is the brush also wider on the DX3, or are they basically the same? Why so many similar models? . I don't care so much about walls or long cord, just want reliability and easy clean filter.

Yes, numbers from Maytronics site make them close to the same. I shortened the cord on my Aquabot 4WD and it's much easier to deal with. I pull it out each cleaning and put it in a cabinet. The 60' cord was a pita, but 35' is much better. I just spliced near the power supply so splice wouldn't be near the water, can't believe I didn't think of it 9 years ago! Leaning towards the Dolphin E20 if this dies (or if I decide I want walls cleaned better).
