Try doing an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test test tomorrow night. If your FC loss is 1.0 or less, and your CC is 0.5 or less, there's nothing organic in your pool chewing up your chlorine. At least you won't have to worry about it being algae!

It could be dust, pollen, bubbles, insect eggs/larvae, who knows. Try to catch some on a white piece of paper and let us know what you get, if anything. Post pics, of course!

Thanks and will do. Chlorine loss has been very slow since it has been to cold to swim the past couple of weeks. SWG is running at 5% for 10 hours a day to keep my FC levels around 6-7.
Heating up the pool for some swimming tomorrow. Hoping this will be ok for the kids to swim in.....

Your numbers look great. My guess is bubbles from the SWG. You can hold a drinking glass upside down in the water near where the return flow starts to dissipate for a few minutes, and if it starts to accumulate a larger bubble, that's what's going on.
