The prior owner left pool things & I am figuring out how to use everything. Trying to look this up but I don't see a model number- I'm guessing it's the 360 or 380 Vac Sweep or similar-90s vintage. I don't think we have a booster pump which I see is sometimes used.
Eta: Is the point of this mostly for larger debris? Heard it doesn't help much with algea.
The color of the hose is also in off-putting ..
It should be exciting to try bc I have no idea if it works:ROFLMAO:

It actually looks like the predecessor to the 280. I am surprised there is no booster pump. The line that you connect the hose to in the pool - where does that line connect to the pump at the equipment pad? Is there a valve that controls if it is pumping to the cleaner only? Maybe post a couple of pictures of your equipment pad and you can get advice on how your system is plumbed up.

It is for debris of all sizes. My 280 picks up pollen off the bottom of pool. If you have algae it is best to SLAM Process and use a manual vacuum to waste or direct to filter to remove it.

EDIT - that first picture that shows the screen - pull it out and clean it real good - you want that to be full open to have the maximum flow.
