Plug for Pool Tool 104D Anode tee?

I'm finally filling my pool today and when I turned on the pump for the first time I found a leak. The cap for my new Pool Tool 104D anode has a split in the middle. I called Pool Tool and spoke with the owner. He was nice enough to send me a replacement via 2nd day air but my freshly plastered and filled pool will be sitting for 2 days without circulation.
I'm looking for a way of plugging the inline tee so I can run my equipment while I wait for the replacement. The threads are not standard 2" FPT. They are much coarser. Has anyone needed to remove the anode and plug the custom tee from Pool Tool?
BTW, I am very happy with the attitude and service from Herb at Pool Tool.

Will the anode unit itself spin out of the T fitting? If so, you might be able to use a standard 2in PVC plug. Otherwise, add chlorine, and use your brush and net to keep the water circulated.

In a properly bonded pool, an anode is likely unnecessary, but that's a topic for another discussion.

The anode is actually attached to the cap which threads onto the clear sleeve. The sleeve threads into the tee. Both the cap and tee are non standard threads. I think I can use a winterizing expansion plug in the sleeve by removing the cap and therefore the anode. I'll just keep pump on a low speed until the new cap arrives to prevent it from blowing out.

The pool is really old and I'm not 100% confident on the bonding. I tried to connect any bonding wires I found while replacing the plumbing. Since I installed a SWG I wanted to add a little more protection.
