Moved from here .. Intex SF80110-2 Pump/Filter Timer Bypass
Mine is stuck in Power Saving Mode. Only shows a "period" on the display. Power button doesn't do anything, and if I press the lock or timer button I hear three beeps then nothing happens. :(
I have the same problem, does anyone have information regarding this and how to fix? Thank you

Hi, Had similar problems. I'm a retired electrical engineer. Decided to have the thing apart. The motor is a basic 3 wire induction motor with capacitor for starting. Threw all the electronics away! Wired to capacitor. It appears the thermal trip is inside the motor itself so still in circuit. All's good now. I control the pump using a simple mechanical timer. I think it's better as you can have as many run & rest times as you want. My system is 240v as in France. Hope that's some use. Please don't attempt this if your not qualified!!

Hi…. I have the same one as you (SF80110) and I need to do what you are talking about because other than this on/off problem my pump motor and filter are doing just fine and it will take them forever to get me a replacement. I am definitely not qualified but I have some men in my family that are qualified. If I show them what you said do you think they would know what to do or is there any step-by-step instructions that you could provide to me? I would be so ever grateful.

Hi PoolMammy,

As franceswimmingpool mentioned, it's a basic three-wire induction motor and there's a start capacitor that can be decoupled from the circuit board and wired inline with the power supply and motor. If you know of someone familiar with motors and wiring electrical, it's straight forward. Feel free to PM me if you have specific questions.

Thank you. I’m not certain if this is exactly what he did but I have a feeling it is what he did. Now all I do is turn my pool pump off and on at the plug using the GFI test and reset button. So far so good (it’s been about three weeks now)
As luck (or lack there of ) would have it….now one of my windows is leaking!! I’m onto a new forum for the Coleman 18 x 48 round swim vista with windows leaking. ☹️☹️☹️

Must have been what he did. Well, I’m happy that you were able to salvage your pump as well - sorry to hear about your new issue though. Windows in a pool sounds amazing though haha.
