AGP Leak help!

I’m in CT. The pool is still closed with a cover on it. It’s a 26,000 gallon pool. I have a visible leak on the side of the pool. I’m loosing about 3/16 of an inch of water over a 10 day period so it’s not a huge leak.
I’ve pulled the cover open enough to look at the area of where the leak is coming from but I can’t find anything that way so far. It’s still cold here so I’m not really interested in getting in to try and look for this thing yet either. Even at that I don’t know if I will find it because I think it’s very small loosing the amount I’m loosing at the rate I’m loosing it.

all of that said I’ve found a product called “Fix a leak”. It’s available on Amazon. Has anyone used this or had any luck with it working on a liner leak like this? If so what was your method of application? The website only discusses use for plumbing leaks but says it can be used for liner leaks as well.

many thoughts or suggestions welcomed. I’m starting to see some rust on the bottom of the wall. I don’t want to wait much longer to try and get this fixed and prevent anymore damage. I’m assuming the ice from this last winter made a small slit in the liner somewhere.

the best way is to let it leak down till it stops.. the hole is at or just above the waterline... The problem being with a hole that size it may take 2 months to leak down... Other than getting in and doing a dye test you could try to do the dye test from standing on the outside and reaching into the pool??

What does the “visible leak on the side of the pool” look like? On a metal wall pool, how would you see the leak?
Can you post a picture?
Losing 3/16” over 10 days is a very small leak and evaporation can easily account for this.
I’ll get a picture later but the cover is still on so there is no evaporation. That’s why I know the amount. I left for work for 10 days and put duck tape at the water level the day before I left.

Pool is covered and we got an inch of rain last night. There was no water on the cover when I put the duck tape in to Mark the level nor yesterday when I checked it before the rain. The pool was damaged like that when I opened the shipping crate 9 years ago. The company gave me grief about replacing it. It was an online purchase. I fixed the wall best I could and painted inside and out. I placed a metal patch on the Inside of the wall secured it with duck tape and then used a foam wall padding with adhesive prior to installing the liner. It’s 9 years old.
The water is seeping from the slit on the wall. There is no other “wet” spot anywhere around the outside of the pool wall. Only where the water is seeping down the wall from this crack. The pool also has a 7’ deep end on this end of the pool. The water level was about 6” below the return jet at the end of winter. I’m not taking it down any lower to try and find this leak and exposing that much liner that’s 9 years old already.
