ok, pool has been closed about 2 weeks. waited until we were getting pretty cold her and worried hoses would freeze and wanted pump to circulate clorine and polyquat. so, got it all closed up, BAM, to day it was 72 and 70 for tomorrow. so, what is going to happen and do i need to do anything? thanks in advance.

No worries Charlie. Darned if you do/don’t gets us all everytime. It’s part of the fun of pool ownership. You can plan all you want and the weather laughs and laughs. Closing with high FC and polyquat will buy you the extra time you need. Check the FC like said above periodically but closed pools usually require a lot less additions so you probably won’t need anything.

thanks, so much. aint it the truth about mother nature??? whole time i was putting on this huge cover, i was thinking, "no wind will blow this bad boy in the pool or off!!!" then i remembered, "mother nature gets very angry sometimes and she can have pms and hormonal blow ups just like any other woman!!!!!!!" i was thinking same as you, but always like the advise from this awesome pool pros! thanks
