Decking went in over 3 days...we went with Roman colored travertine in French pattern...we also got the ledger stone and granite picked for the outdoor kitchen build...supposedly about 2 weeks out from being finished 🤞

That looks great 👍... Is that a pump they left in the pool? Why would that be there?
What are those two circles you can see on the sun shelf? I'm guessing some type of water feature but really can't make out what they are from the picture.

Looks great, I’ve had no progress in a week. They mostly installed my deck last Thursday and ran out of some travertine. After that, silence. I got fed up and sent a nasty message and then received a phone call. The project manager was fired, never placed the order for my pavers, and never placed the order for equipment. Glad to see you’re having much progress.

Thanks! The pump is to keep it as dry as possible since the bottom drain is still open to ground water. The circles on the sun shelf is for lighted bubblers and an umbrella holder.

Same here. My wife went “Karen” on the builder two weeks ago and suddenly things started happening.

Been an adventurous weekend...my youngest saw an empty pool and decided to ride his scooter in it leaving some ruts before the finish had hardened.... thank god it all was repairable...now we fill and wait with the explicit instructions to stay the heck away from the pool until it’s full

Haha, YOLO from his perspective! Glad it was fixed and it looks great!!

🤯frustration level 1000. Start-up has been nothing short of a 💩 show. The guy responsible didn’t show the first day and when he did show at 7am...he couldn’t get the stand pipe out of the skimmer that the used for the pressure test...apparently the paver guys cut it off too low and he didn’t have the right stuff...so pool was left non-functional...pool company didn’t seem to really think it was a big deal and pool could sit until the guy could get back around to it...I was able to get it out this evening myself with a coupler, spare pipe, a tee and some glue...not sure why the “experts” couldn’t handle this during a time that’s so important for the PebbleTec finish...somehow I bet there will me a bigger sense of urgency when it’s time for the final payment 🤷‍♂️

The outdoor kitchen is coming along...we did not go through the pool company for this and we are managing this project, landscaping and pergola/arbors separately

Good call on the separation. Many are glad to say goodbye to their PB’s.

Travertine is sealed...outdoor kitchen is done...we have a calcium scale issue that the builder has to fix from a bad startup but other than that the 💰 bleeding has officially stopped 🤣. It’s been a rough, up and down experience but we love the final product. Thanks you to this community for the input and feedback throughout! Cheers! 🍻
