I can't get rid of it!! I'm about to give up. I think it's gone then nope it's climbing the walls!! I know I'm doing something wrong but I don't know what. I mostly just check chlorine and ph levels. I usually check alkalinity but I'm out of the regent needed. Any ideas appreciated.

What are you testing with? If not using TF100 or Taylor k2006, first step is to get your own kit. I prefer the TF100, link in my signature.

You answered your own question! In addition to ordering a test kit as the post above advises, please read The ABCs of Pool Water Chemistry. The link is in my signature. Then read SLAM, also in my signature. SLAM is what you will need to do, once you have a test kit (pool store tests aren’t that accurate.)
