Pebble Sheen vs Stonescapes Mini Pebble - cost and quality?

I have searched the forum and can't seem to find any recent information on the cost and quality differences between the NPT mini pebble products and the Pebble Technology Pebble Sheen product. We are leaning towards the Tropics Blue mini pebble from NPT but I wanted to get some current info from anyone knowledgeable about the differences.

I'm told my PB uses a very experienced installer for the NPT product that does a great job. From what I've read, it sounds like the products are similar and the differences really come down to who installs it? Is that a valid statement? My PB is also charging the same price for either the Pebble Sheen or the Stonescapes Mini Pebble. He only offers a few colors in each line at the "basic price" but I've read in the past that the NPT stuff usually costs about half as much for the bags of pebbles. Is it fair to assume his costs for the NPT stuff is less than for the Pebble Tec? Trying to decide if I should negotiate on the price based on lower material and installation costs but I can't find any solid information on current pricing.

Labor skill and labor cost is the main difference from contractor to contractor. The final appearance is dictated by applicator skill and not brand used. In some markets Stonescapes can bill out more than Pebble Tec, but it never hurts to ask for a discount.
