Socks captured THIS from returns...what now?

Only backwash once the pressure increases by about 25%. Too often is just a waste. Re-charge with DE as necessary. The polyfill should be kept separated from the DE, so if you have to add DE, do it first then add the polyfill back in.

FYI - Take a look at this one if you haven't seen it already.
Thanks for the link to post and response to DE questions. Are there telltale signs that new DE is needed or is it just automatic after a backwash (and I’m assuming after I open it up and hose off filter and check for tears)? And how do you know how much to add? I have a scoop!

good news: seems like less debris coming out of returns. Mainly pollen now.
 
@splashpad @Texas Splash @vbertone @I just wanted to come back to say THANK YOU! Slam complete, FC and ph down far enough to remove stains with MM, polyfill in skimmers, DE filter backwashed and recharged...starting to feel like I’m learning what makes my pool happy. ☺️THANK YOU TFP!!!
