I have a connection that can pour concrete for me. My first thought is that it will perfectly level, I will soften the bottom with xps foam, use stick and peel coving and a gorilla pad or some such under the liner. Gets rid of ants, termites.
What problems am I not thinking of? Mold?

Need to decide soon if you will

Not sure about mold but plenty of others have set up on concrete pads. Sounds like a solid plan.

As long as its thick enough to handle the extra load that a typical walkway wouldn't need.. Or reinforced enough. Or both.

I wouldn't see mold being any more of an issue on the underside. You would have the two impermeable barriers with the foam and liner either way. With concrete you may get it on both sides of the foam so would that really matter ? I dunno.
