Iron stain advice

Sorry.....haven't been here in a while. Well water and fiberglass with iron staining. I can eliminate stains with citric acid treatment and pool sparkles but have issues with it returning. Tried many methods only to fail.
Ideas on my conversation below???
Spoke to Matt at Jacks Magic today. He suggested after acid treatment use the Blue stuff (phosphonic acid based sequestrant) and add the Filter Stuff to my sand filter (improves filtration down to 2-3 micron). Dont use liquid chlorine (PH of 12..never knew it was that high) and only use Dichlor PH-7 or Trichlor PH-2 to help keep pool PH below 7.2 while filtering for 2-3 weeks. He says the Blue Stuff will suspend the iron and the Filter Stuff will remove it. In my case he said to always use the Filter Stuff and Blue Stuff as maintenance since I fill with well water.
Does anyone agree with this method and is there other Phosphonic acid based products more cost effective than the Blue Stuff? I've looked at the CU Later but the Jacks method sounds better. Attached with and without stain pics.
Thanks!!

well, The jack's magic may well filter it out but it seems you will simply always be adding more from the well. Have you tried keeping your pH down around 7.0 - 7.2 once you remove the stain?

Oh yes.....did the lower ph routine also. I can't find data sheets on the sequestrants I've used before so they probably weren't diphosphonic based. I'm leaning towards trying the Proteam Metal Magic with Jack's filter fiber stuff. Not too sure about the CULater bag but may have to try it also.
Thanks for the input!
