Help! I've spent over 900$ in three weeks and still can't swim!

Oh man! I just placed my order on tftestkits.net for the fsa-dpd kit this morning. That speedstir looks way easier. I'll have to get one.
While entirely optional, I also have the SpeedStir and Sample Sizer. They speed testing and accuracy.

Call them Monday, they can add both to your order. They are both wonderful for testing. No pain in the wrist from swirling.

Thank y'all so much! I called and got it added to my order. The lady I talked to was super nice. I'm ready to get it all next week!
I vacuumed my pool to waste and I'm refilling it now. It's cloudy/green from sturing up the algae. Should I just keep vacuuming to waste until I can see the bottom good then add chlorine or stop vacuuming and start adding chlorine and filter until clear?

I'd just reach for the bleach and let it work while the stuff settles down again. Then vacuum it up, either to waste to lower CH or just to filter. But you do need to keep the FC up to keep the algae that's left from reproducing.

I went out this morning to look at my pool hoping to see the bottom....but it was still milky/cloudy. Was this just wishful thinking and what should I expect??
Yesterday I used pool math and adjustedmy ph first, then add 4.5 gallons of 10% bleach all after I had vacuumed to waste and refilled pool. But after I did that I thought stupid me I should have retested after I refilled pool. But I didn't and these are my readings this morning:
FC +10-20 looked a tad darker than the top number
TC 7.5-15
PH +8.0 Added 3 drops to bring it down to 7.6
TA 120
Cal 150
CYA 50

It was wishful thinking. You should know by this time of life that cleaning up a mess always takes longer than making one. And a pool doesn't turn into a sludge pond in a day or two.

Don't try adjusting your pH with the FC so high. Above 10 FC it reacts and reads falsely high. Photographic proof! Accurate pH test during shock levels with R-007?

I know, I know, but one can dream right! ?
So until my fas/dpd kit comes in I need to just keep my FC at 20, right?
And also I'm trying to add my signature and all I see is where it says about me....do I add it there? I don't see anything that says signature.

Okay. So what do I need to do?
You are limited. As I wrote earlier: let FC dip below 10 and then you can actually check pH and adjust it. Your test block reads to 10, so when it's 10 or less you can trust the results and add to get to 20 again. But then you'll have to wait hours and hours (maybe a whole day) for it to drop low enough to read again. So instead of testing and dosing every hour or two so that the FC cycles between, say, 18 -20 ten times a day., you get to test maybe twice a day and your FC goes through a much wider range, like 8 to 20 twice a day.

Or just add 5 FC every day until your FAS-DPD tester arrives and then you can do it right.

Okay. I will do that and wait for tester to arrive. I guess I miss understood earlier. When I get it I'll test and reach out here before I do anything else. Do I need to be sweeping it everyday or anything like that until the tester comes?

Brushing is always good. It scrapes the protective film (think of a scab) off the algae so bleach can kill it.

Okay...I got my tester and speedstir in today!! Wow!!! It came really fast, I'm so excited!! So just tested and here is what I have using fas/dbd and speedstir:
FC=4.5
CC=0.5
TC=4
PH=7.6
ALK=100
CH=140
CYA=40
So what do I need to do first???
Thanks in advance for y'alls help and all the help already given.
