Can't find my silicone lube -alternative?

I can't seem to find my tube of silicone lubricant I got to lube the orings on the equipment plugs. Before I buy another tube, I did find a tube of "keg lube" which is food-safe petroleum jelly. Can I use that instead?

Petroleum products are not good for rubber. A food grade product will breakdown quicker.

Buy BOSS #820 Lubricant. You can get a big tube of it on Amazon.

I use silicone paste which you can find at any automotive store (learned that trick when I owned a boat).

Home Depot has a Plummers lube that is ok
