I have the chance to buy an appx 3 year old DX4 cleaner that looks in great condition from a customer of mine. It has not been used in a year, but was working great when they sold their home with a pool.

Are these good?

Should I be concerned about the age?

If I have to rebuild, the cost could make it the same as new possibly?

What would be a no way to turn down price?

Thanks

If it's been sitting for a year, see if you can run it for a full cycle before buying. Not that anything should be horribly wrong with a 3 year old cleaner, but like a car sometimes sitting for an extended period of time can wind up breaking something. If it's in working order it might need a new set of tracks and pulleys after 3 years, but beyond that if you can scoop it up for like $4-500 I'd say it's a good buy. They go for $900-$1100 new.

they want $400, which is ok in my opinion, but if I had to repair then I feel like would be better going new. Has a cart also.
