What's your current pool temp?

Hit 68° this weekend - and after being at the beach wading around in 57° water I had to jump in to the pool to warm up!!!

It is 10° warmer than the ocean so it wasn't too bad...:swim:

We don't have a heater of any type - but with a safety cover, and warmer weather it is warming up nicely. I probably won't get my son to jump in until it is the mid 70's, and my wife won't touch it till it gets to the mid 80's. Wimps.

This is only our first week of warm weather after our biblical rains this winter here in Northern California.

I guess if we finally put solar on the roof we might be able to get the pool into the mid 70's this early??? I am just not ready to spend the $4000 for a few extra weeks of swimming...

We were up to 73 a few days ago and then that blizzard blew down here and dropped it to 67. It was 32 last night! Brrrrrrrrr ewski!

It is supposed to be 81 and sunny Sunday and Monday. So, after it is 41 tonight, heat pump goes on tomorrow from 8a to 8p for a few days. We'll see where we are and crank it up more if needed. Target water temp is 82.

Made 76 here today. Starting to get excited. :)

I've found that in our dry air, I get more heat gain leaving the blue solar cover on 24/7 this time of year than I do taking it off during the day to let the sun shine in. I'm assuming it has to do with evaporative cooling.

back to being frozen with 11 inches of snow on top, after totally thawed 7 days ago.
The only people that say they love the beautiful snow and how it makes everything so comfy, sparkle and seasonal" DON'T LIVE HERE".
My idea of a mild winter is no snow at all.Plus the 5 below zero temp this morning 3/15 is real peachy.Going to quit before I get banned
Punxut"phoney" Phil Lard butt might be right.
