We opened on Friday, woohoo! It was also our first year doing it ourselves. Easy peasy. I am SO thankful to TFP - opened to a fabulous pool. Just dirty from the copious amount of dogs that walk on our mesh cover. No hand vac, just using Fred the robot and brushing down the walls. -Upon open...

Yes, we have a mesh safety cover. I have a dog boarding and daycare business in my home, so we had a ton of dogs on the cover (hence all the dirt!)

I had zero dogs on my cover and just as much silt. It filters only the finest stuff blowing around the yard and i'd have a half inch of perfectly settled muck every spring,

Muddy dogs would add some of course, but they aren't fully responsible.
