What's your current pool temp?

I think it was last week when mine finally crossed over to 70. Made it to 73 day before yesterday but 50's temp that night went down to 70 and stayed for most of yesterday, rain and clouds. Just hit 74 this afternoon, sunny 81 air. Most nights right now it's only losing about 1 during night so I'm still debating whether to bother with solar cover or not.

Had two trees cut down Saturday that put a lot of shade on pool so hoping it will warm up faster this year.

Still way too cold for me and only one dog is swimming regularly. He keeps swimming around pool to where the other ones are, on the deck, trying to get the sissies to jump in.

My pool just hit 89 today, first nice relaxing swim of the season, taken a few dips before now but this was the first time i didnt freeze while in there

bout 71 here, and 90 outside. We are finally hitting the 90's consistantly so it will warm up quickly. waiting for my fave 78 to jump in

Its about 72-74 here. Probably consider heating it in a week or two.

Opened Thursday 4/29 it was 57. I put on the solar blanket Thursday 5/6 it was 78 & yesterday it was 81, so my kids went swimming.

Hit 78 yesterday, last night cool and today cool. Pool 74 all day. 50's tonight so will take a couple of sunny days to get back to 78. Almost there to 80. Then should be up near my temp, 88, in a couple more weeks.

Had it to 83 with the heat pump middle of last week with daily highs around 72. But, weather went into the toilet last 2 days with lows in the high 30's. Was 77 last night. Even with the solar cover on last night, this morning it was 73

Mine is 70 this morning. Last week it was 78-80 and we swam four times. Cold front came through yesterday and now it is cold again!

With air temps in 50's last night only lost 1 degree. Went from 74 to 73. No solar cover. I'm still debating about whether to even bother with one.

Solar got me from 74to 83 today. No cover

Solar opened at 8:30 this morning and the pool hit 83 at 2:30.

Pump RPM 2730 700 watts/hr consumption. (just shy of one HP)
BTU input total 1,501,200
Net 250K BTU hour delivered to the water.

Total cost for todays heat- .58 cents

Here in cloudy, rainy, cold Maryland mine is 60 F. Will probably solar cover tomorrow and the weekend, it's suppose to be warmer (heard that one before), and turn on the heat pump.

86 with solar cover (although it was heated from 70 to82 three weeks ago then put on cover. Should the cover be left off?

We've been between 78 and 80. I've already been swimming in it for two weeks!

Actually made it hip-high in the pool to clean it when it was 74, that was way back on Easter weekend.

I've never ever claimed to be sane :-D

Last night it was 85, but now it's raining, so I'm sure it's cooled off a bit.
