Volleyball 🏐 holes

Hello,

When the pool/concrete was installed we had them do holes for volleyball poles. Is it possible to use umbrellas there instead? If anyone has I’d love to see pics and get the scoop on how to!

Not really sure the size of vollyball poles but....
How about measuring the holes and finding a corresponding bit of PVC to use as test for umbrella poles? Or just measure the diameter and then measure poles as you go?
Just a couple of random ideas.

You can probably make a sleeve with pvc to put your umbrellas in so they fit more securely if the holes are too big in diameter. They sell smaller length pieces of pvc at Home Depot so you don’t have to buy a whole 10ft stick.

Thx . I’ve done something similar…. with pvc sleeve for my umbrellas in a huge flower pot (that hides a 5 gal bucket holding concrete that the pvc is set in )

I need to figure how to “fasten” pvc into said hole. We have never used them even for volleyball so I’m not exactly sure how it works even for vball net

I would *fatten* the pvc with electrical tape, then fatten the umbrella pole so both are snug fits.

What kind of holes? We had ladder anchors put in the concrete to use as holes for a volleyball net. PVC fit in the anchors perfectly.
