Unknown substance floating in tub

Hi all, our small 2 seater Beachcomber tub has this strange substance floating in our tub.

If you're sure it's not bather waste, it looks like it could be white mold. Is it sticky or brittle?

Looks like what would form on my saltwater aquarium heater elements and pumps over time: calcium precipitation. What are your ALK and CH levels. Is it hard?

It’s sticky. There are only 2 of us using the tub 2-3 times per week.

I did a round of Ahh-some & changed the water in November. Balanced the CH & alkalinity + then. Haven’t checked these 2 since as it usually didn’t budge much after that. The slime is kind of chunky and masking tape yellow. There seems to be a skimmer sock full for the last few days. My fear is that it’s a disintegrating seal of some sort.

If it’s sticky it may be biofilms. What are your current fc,cc, cya & ph

When you did the November Ahh-Some Purge how much released sticky gunk did it produce? Did you purge again for a second time to see if all the bio-contaminants were expelled? Did you add the filters in the water when purging?
