You can run the CYA at any reasonable level you want as long as you compensate with appropriate FC levels. There is nothing wrong with trying 70ppm ... the issue with higher CYA level comes when you have a problem ans the FC levels required for the SLAM process are very high.

You need to get the FC UP and keep it there are you are going to be in for a world of hurt. You MUST not let it get below 7ppm.

BTW, use a 10ml water sample for the FAS-DPD test to save reagent ... each drop will be 0.5ppm
