Ta help

TA is what buffers your pH. TA too low can let your pH crash down and your pool can suddenly become dangerously acidic. At 30 you are skirting along the edge of a cliff that your pH can fall over.

I would be very careful with small acid adjustments as any acid can push your pH over the cliff.

Once your TA hits 50, the pH should not rise above 8. You likely are adding too much acid. Do you have Poolmath logs you can share?

I have the TFT test kit.
For the TA test, are you adding drops until there is no further color change?

When i get 8 ph I add the amount of acid the pool calc tells me
PoolMath is just a calculator. It's important to not blindly follow it. You're adding too much MA (stop adding acid). See where your pH stabilizes.

With an elevated CH, you need to keep the TA and pH more controlled. You get rain. Use it to replace pool water when you can.
